This privacy policy explains what information the Through Christ: Bible & Notes app ("Through Christ" or "the app") uses and how. Through Christ is published on Google Play by Impact Code Analysis LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

What the app stores

We do not collect personal information. Through Christ has no accounts or sign-in and never asks for your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details. The app does not access your camera, photos, contacts, or location.

The app saves your notes, highlights, reading position, design and color choices, text size, and voice settings on your device so you can pick up where you left off. This information is not sent to us, and we cannot see it.

When the app reads the Bible or a chapter summary aloud, it uses the text to speech voice built into your device. The text is spoken on your device and is not sent to us.

Voice search and the microphone

Voice search is optional. The app asks for permission to use the microphone only when you tap the microphone button, and you can say no and still use every other feature.

When you use voice search, your device's speech recognition service (on most Android phones, provided by Google) listens and turns your words into text, then hands that text back to the app so it can find the passage. The app does not record, save, or send your voice anywhere itself. Your speech is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. You can turn off the microphone permission at any time in your device's Settings > Apps > Through Christ > Permissions.

Sharing verses and notes

When you share a verse, a note, a chapter summary, or a picture card, the app opens your device's share screen. You choose where it goes, for example a text message, email, or social app. Nothing is shared unless you choose it, and the app does not send anything on its own.

Advertising

Through Christ does not show ads and does not include any advertising software. The app does not use the Android advertising ID.

Purchases

Through Christ is free, and every feature is free for everyone. The app offers optional one-time gifts that help support the app. Gifts do not unlock anything and are not tax deductible.

Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store card numbers, bank details, or billing addresses. The app only learns from Google Play whether a gift went through, so it can say thank you. Google's handling of payment information is described in the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

What the app does not do

• No accounts, sign-in, or profiles
• No chat or messaging with other users inside the app
• No ads and no use of the advertising ID
• No access to the camera, photos, contacts, or location
• No recording or storing of your voice
• No selling of personal information

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. The only outside services the app uses are your device's speech recognition service for voice search and Google Play for optional gifts. Each handles information under its own privacy policy.

Children

Through Christ is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Requesting data deletion

Everything the app saves stays on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the app's storage in your device settings, deletes all notes, highlights, and settings immediately. We do not keep user information on our own servers, so there is no account to delete.

Information handled by Google for voice search or purchases is kept and deleted under Google's policies, and you can manage it at myaccount.google.com. If you have any question about deleting information, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to ask for it to be deleted, and to object to certain uses. Because the app does not collect personal information and we do not keep user data, most of these requests concern data handled by Google, which you can manage through your Google account. You are always welcome to contact us with any privacy question.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this post and the effective date at the top.
