Introducing the Living System Map

The Impact Team·August 9, 2026

Most tools show you one repo at a time. Real systems don't work that way — a change in one service breaks a caller three repos over.

The Living System Map stitches your whole estate into one graph: services as nodes, cross-repo API calls as edges. It's fully navigable — pan, zoom from org down to the individual endpoint, search for a service, drag to reposition, and click any node to see who depends on it.

How to read it

  • Node size grows with how much a service exposes and consumes.
  • Solid edges are exact route matches; dashed are probable (wildcard) matches.
  • Click a service to open its cross-repo blast radius and its callers, file-and-line.

The map isn't a diagram you export once. It's rebuilt on every analysis, so it always matches reality. Find it under System Map in the sidebar.
